Due to strict visa regulations enforced by the Dubai Immigration department, Kenya Airways has imposed the following requirements on all visa regulations:

1. Suitable Sponsor:
   • IATA Travel Agent.
   • Cash Deposit of USD 200 (refundable, 7 working days required).
   • A letter from employer showing proof of employment.
2. Duration of processing a visa shall be 7 working days.
   NB: Friday and Saturday is the weekend in Dubai. Immigration Department and KQ Dubai office will be closed during this period.
3. Visa fee is non-refundable once the visa has been logged whether rejected or unutilized. A cancellation charge of USD 45/- is applicable if anyone wishes to cancel the visa application after it has been logged or unutilized.
4. Overstaying fine is AED 5,100- per passenger in addition to the daily charges of AED 150 per every overstay day will be charged to the passenger or sponsor.
5. Visa permit is valid for 30 days to enter UAE from the date of issue and the duration of stay in the UAE is also 30 days from the date of arrival.
6. All passengers should have confirmed return tickets on Kenya Airways, issued 24hrs in advance, when collecting their Visa.
7. Visas for single ladies travelling alone below 25yrs of age will not be approved. Families travelling with children should provide copies of their birth certificates and marriage certificates attached to the visa application.
8. In case of UAE immigration systems do not show the departure of the passengers after they exit from UAE, we would require Exit Stamp pages of the returned passenger passports scanned and sent to Dubai for clearance, and for that reason we need passenger permenent residence/work place contacts and contacts of sponsors filled up on the application form.
9. All passengers must travel on KQ services only.
10. Visa applications will be received from 9am - 12 pm from Monday to Thursday.
    
    Passenger will be required to bring the following:
    1. Physical passport and 1 color photograph of passport size.
    2. For KQ Staff, copy of Staff ID is required.
    3. Attached Visa application Form filled and signed.
    4. Visa charges amounting to USD 110/- per person.
